I plod or glide through the <em>thousand metres<\/em> depending on the day and the state of the bod.<br \/>\nI manage three swims and a long beach walk as the substitute for the fourth swim.<br \/>\nMy aches are feeling eased by the end of the week.<br \/>\nEven a week spent close to the computer has not diminished the effect&#8230;. and it surely helps me to sleep better.<br \/>\nCan I keep it up is the <em>thousand dollar<\/em> question?<\/p>\n<p>The underlying bulk of the week is again twentyONE+centric.<br \/>\nThere is a sad dearth of downstairs time with the machine switched on twice only &#8211;\u00a0 and for a short time &#8211; to push out some black feathers and some yellow feathers that are patiently waiting in line&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-1187\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"awesome\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4-768x576.jpg 768w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4-600x450.jpg 600w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-4.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>There are moments of illumination.<br \/>\nOne lunchtime I put on a TED talk. We are in the thick of it. All eyes are on the GF raspberry choc cake <em>which is demolished<\/em>&#8230;fairly\/equally\/quickly!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-1184\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-1-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"first stop - The Attic of yummyness\" width=\"600\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-1-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-1-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-1-600x800.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>We also visit New Edition bookstore for me to grab the last\/fourth Elena Ferrante &#8216;Neopolitan novel&#8217; &#8211; I&#8217;ve been a couple of days without a novel and itching to continue this journey.<br \/>\nWe chose &#8216;Mr Huff&#8217; for our &#8216;little Mullen&#8217; library\/collection.<br \/>\nFor me a kids book has to be a good read-out-loud book <em>and<\/em> needs beautiful illustration &#8211; and luckily there are always a few that fit this category and my big expectations.<br \/>\nWe read Mr Huff many times that day and each time I am amazed at how a two year old observes and verbalises.<br \/>\nI will need to edit out some of the old books soon as our shelves are starting to struggle with my constant purchases.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-1185\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"really big\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/week-15-2-600x600.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>Then off to the Esplanade playground which is chokkas with school holiday bodies. Esther is the opposite of fearful in these situations &#8211; just a wee bit pushed for height and bulk otherwise she&#8217;d be climbing with the best of them. We breath. We work hard. We talk. We plan. We relax. We sleep well.<br \/>\nOn Saturday I prepare Sunday&#8217;s family dessert &#8211; Lime Creams with Blueberry Sauce &#8211; placed in ten little pots.
