It does seem like the calendar is going in slow motion &#8211; a quick slow quick slow dance as we send through our website edits morning, noon and night.<br \/>\nWe do start pushing out the advertising though&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/twentyoneplus-email-copy.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1318\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/twentyoneplus-email-copy.jpeg\" alt=\"twentyONE+ flyer\" width=\"596\" height=\"842\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/twentyoneplus-email-copy.jpeg 596w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/twentyoneplus-email-copy-212x300.jpeg 212w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 596px) 100vw, 596px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The week ends with a beautiful <em>chug, chug<\/em> on the Hotham Valley Railway steam engine puffing its way gently on the way down the hill to Isandra.<br \/>\nWith fingers crossed and loads of steam blowing, we forcefully<em> CHUG CHUGGED<\/em> our way back up the the hill to Dwellingup.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1327\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8.jpg\" alt=\"bushfire view from HV steam train\" width=\"2448\" height=\"3264\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8.jpg 2448w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/week-22-8-600x800.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2448px) 100vw, 2448px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In-between times I could not settle to stitch, or to making, or to being creative.<br \/>\nMy head was too full. I needed a change of task&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I have been looking at the studio, up and downstairs, and trying to find a way that I can reinvent the space to best accommodate my slowly changing direction.<br \/>\nOver the course of the last few weeks I have listed possible moves of shelves and storage spaces as I continue building the exit pile of accumulated materials, books, equipment and the like.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday I launch into it, tackling the clearest item on the list. A lone set of shelves on the south side is to join an adjacent long set &#8211; therefore exiting rolls of fabrics that have lately overflowed messily.<br \/>\nDone &amp; dusted&#8230;.and vacuumed and cleared of excess.<\/p>\n<p>The next day two north sets if shelves are cleared. Supplies are slotted into cleared spaces in the south side or removed upstairs to the &#8216;gotta go&#8217; pile..<\/p>\n<p>On Friday I attacked the &#8216;laundry&#8217; area where another two sets of shelves had excess removed.<br \/>\nThe working week was gone.<br \/>\nThe long\u00a0WA day weekend was about to begin.<\/p>\n<p>Down south winter hit with a vengance.
