{"id":1568,"date":"2016-08-08T11:52:57","date_gmt":"2016-08-08T03:52:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/?p=1568"},"modified":"2017-03-20T12:54:43","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T04:54:43","slug":"more-white-more-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/?p=1568","title":{"rendered":"more white&#8230;.more work"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>WEEK THIRTY-ONE (august 1-7)<\/p>\n<p>The painting continued and more white paint was flung &#8230;. and I ran out to get more!<br \/>\nBy Tuesday arvo the painters tape was off, tiny touch ups were done and I set to scrubbing the edges clean.<\/p>\n<p>I then needed to make a box and sent off my quilt, money and paperwork to Ozquilt for the upcoming Australia Wide 5 exhibition which starts off its tour in Bunbury Regional Art Gallery.<br \/>\nBunbury is going to be a hive of textile\/artquilt action in September as the exhibition opens alongside OZquilt&#8217;s annual conference &#8211; this time with the moniker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ozquiltnetwork.org.au\/conference\/\">Bunbury Bash<\/a>.<br \/>\nA must see if you can make it&#8230;.alas I will be in Mongolia&#8230;.happy\/sad.<\/p>\n<p>Then there was the\u00a0blah job of scrubbing and replacing shelves.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1573\" src=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2.jpg\" alt=\"freshened up and organised\" width=\"2407\" height=\"2407\" srcset=\"http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2.jpg 2407w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2-768x768.jpg 768w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2-1024x1024.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/janmullen.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/week-31-2-600x600.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2407px) 100vw, 2407px\" \/><\/a>The <em>not blah job<\/em> was playing with my project boxes&#8230;. Dated they certainly are&#8230;.<em>and<\/em> I sold some at the studio sale to force my hand to remake.<\/p>\n<p>I need absence of colour but don&#8217;t want sensible all white. The bloke is going to make a pile of frames\/supports for me.<\/p>\n<p>We head off to our little house on the weekend with old friends\/old neighbours and we were mostly hunkered inside due to the cold and the wet&#8230;it was lovely.
