MY FOCUS ON YOU

Studio Sessions are student directed and focus on these areas;
new work – come with ideas and inspiration, however slight, and together we will work to realise your vision.
mentoring/facilitating – develop your work away from the norm using your ideas and my advice. We will work together to achieve YOUR goals. ufo – problem solving, aiming to move on and finish your projects.

my specialities are textile-based – innovative construction, free motion machine stitch, quilting, colour, design and problem solving.
I am adept at dimensional/scuptural works and have experience in digital media, ceramics and essential basics such as drawing.

I am likely to encourage you to skill up. I may introduce you to new techniques or I may  simply expand your thinking.
I may get you drawing  and designing.
Helping you advance your ideas and your projects – however you work and whatever you goal is – is the basis for these sessions.

CLASS HOUSEKEEPING

CLASS CONTENT
Most of the sessions will likely be student driven projects but I am happy to hold classes within the class or a dedicated day for a set skill or project.
Talk to me before the class, or before booking, if you need specific direction.

ARE YOU NEW?
I encourage new students to meet with me a week out from class so that we can both make best use of class time. The meeting will look at your aims, skills and projects. This will make sure you can start work quickly on the day.
Regular students are welcome to contact me for advice anytime. It helps both of us to keep you moving…

WHAT IS PROVIDED
Drinks and snacks  and lunch is provided.
Rotary cutting mats, rulers and various tools are available for your use.
