Studio Sessions are student directed and focus on these areas;
new work – come with ideas and inspiration, however slight, and together we will work to realise your vision.
ufo – problem solving, aiming to move on and finish your projects.
mentoring – develop your work away from the norm using your ideas and my advice. We will work together to achieve YOUR goals.

my specialities are textile-based – innovative construction, free motion machine stitch, quilting, colour, design and problem solving.
I am adept at dimensional/scuptural works and have experience in both digital media, ceramics and essential basics such as drawing.

I am likely to encourage you to skill up. To get you drawing  and designing. I may introduce you to new techniques or I may  simply expand your thinking.
Helping you advance your ideas and your projects – however you work and whatever you goal is – is the basis for these sessions.

Most of the sessions will likely be student driven projects but I am happy to hold classes within the class or a dedicated day for a set skill or project.
Talk to me before the class, or before booking, if you need specific direction.

I encourage new students to meet with me a week out from class so that we can both make best use of class time. The meeting will look at your aims, skills and projects. This will make sure you can start work quickly on the day.
Regular students are welcome to contact me for advice anytime. It helps both of us to keep you moving…

Class notes, if available, will be included in the class price and transferred to you by email.
Drinks and snacks are provided.
Rotary cutting mats, rulers and tools will also be available for your use.
My studio is very well equipped and I am very good at sharing but feel free to bring your own LABELLED equipment.
My studio can extend to ‘upstairs and next door’ adding more design wall, floor and table space as needed. Let me know what space you require.

Lunch is purchased fresh, locally – with those desiring chipping in a maximum of $10.
If you prefer you are welcome to BYO – just let me know.

Classes run with a general minimum of FOUR and a general maximum of SIX students.
A running tally of available places will be found above/on this page. It will change!
If the class has no spaces available I will gladly put your name on the waiting list.

I no longer send invoices prior to the class.
Pay on the day with Credit Card, EFT or cash.

Private individual tuition is also available on request.
